Residents of the Brighton Central School District approved a $93,153,759 budget for the 2022-23 school year by a vote of 1,967 to 461. The budget received an 81% percent “yes” vote. The projected tax levy increase for 2022-23 is 2.12%.
The Foreign Language Department is looking for host families for the 2022-23 interns. The interns come to Brighton in October and stay through June, teaching Twelve Corners Middle School and Brighton High School language classes and sharing their culture.
She is the author of many children's favorites, including the “Bradford Street Buddies” early reader series, “Raising Dragons,” and the two “Plantzilla” books.
Gracie Conn and Hugh Finnigan were also announced as New York City Bound Candidates, allowing them to compete on May 26 for the chance to represent Rochester at the National High School Musical Theatre Awards.
