Birthday Celebrations in Room 110

  •

    Dear Families,

Birthdays come but once a year and I am excited to celebrate each and every child’s birthday with them.  We do some very special things for birthdays, including celebrating half-birthdays.

With allergies and wellness goals in mind, room 110 has a “no treat” policy for all birthday celebrations.  We do, however, take birthdays seriously.  Here in room 110 we celebrate birthdays and half birthdays (for those of you who were born in the summertime) to ensure all children are celebrated on their special day.

You may be wondering how your child can celebrate their birthday with their classmates in school.  Below is a list of suggestions.  Please make arrangements with me prior to their birthday so it can be added to that day’s daily schedule.

    Birthday Celebration Ideas

    • Lunch in the classroom with 3 friends
    •   Game at the end of the day in your honor (Tag, 7-Up, etc.)

    •        Share a favorite picture book (within 15 minutes) or donate a book to the classroom library in your child’s honor.       15-minute craft (please provide supplies)

If you have other celebration ideas, please don’t hesitate to call or email.  Thank you for your understanding and cooperation,
