Our Resource Page offers some background on current study units, projects, and research.November Social Studies takes the building blocks of geography, resources, and culture applied to the ancient civilization of the Aztecs. Students are dividing into specialty groups to study an aspect of the Aztec Culture. They are working with a small group to read and take outline form notes on their assigned cultural aspect. Specialties include Agriculture, Daily Life, Religion, Art, City of Tenochtitlan, Warfare, Society, Medicine, Calendar, and Games. Each group will teach their specialty to the class as they take notes. Students will be allowed to use their notes on a final test that will be around Thanksgiving.
