Meet Mrs. McElduff

  • Thank you for taking a minute to get to know me! This is my 16th year in education. I was an AIS teacher and Reading Recovery teacher for 14 years before coming to Council Rock as the Literacy Coach. I am thrilled to begin my second year in Brighton and I look forward to continuing to work with the teachers, students and families that are part of this amazing community!

I completed my Undergraduate Degree in Speech Language Pathology at Nazareth College and stayed there for my Master's Program in Literacy Education K-12. I have also been trained as a Reading Recovery Teacher through SUNY Brockport. I think it is fair to say that language and literacy are my passion and helping students learn to love reading has been a goal of mine throughout my career!

In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I also enjoy walking, reading, camping and painting.

The biggest joy in my life is watching my two sons grow and learn new things. Sean (11) is in 6th grade and Will (8) is in 3rd grade. Sean is quite the little sportsman, while Will prefers singing, dancing and acting. They, along with our dog, Molly, Leopard Gecko, Bo and several fish keep my husband and I quite busy!
