SPED (Special Education) PTSA meets several times a year, offering presentations specifically designed to answer questions that often come up in Special Education. Some of these presentations are geared towards a specific age group and will be held in one of the buildings.More general information meetings are held at the
Central Administration office, 2035 Monroe Avenue. Check the calendar for exact dates and join us as often as you can. The meetings are an excellent way to meet other parents, get involved, and find out what's happening across the district, or to learn about changes in special education programs. The director of Student Services attends every meeting to update parents and to answer questions.
Past presentations can be found here: https://www.bcsd.org/Page/15103
Please contact one of the SPED PTSA representatives if you have an idea for a presentation, are not sure where to turn for help with a struggling child, or have questions or just want to talk with someone about what may come next. We would be happy to help connect you to the right people in the district who can help!
Brighton Central PTSA invites you to become actively involved in the many aspects of your child's Brighton years. Any amount of volunteer time you can give will be greatly appreciated.
