• Update to Families – June 19

    Dear Families,

Thank you again for your support in so many ways. As we wrap up the year, I’d like to wish you and yours a safe, restful, fun, and healthy summer. It is always a privilege for us to work with your children. They are thoughtful, engaged, and creative young people who will change the world for the better. Thank you for sharing them with us this year.

What a year it was. Thank you for your patience as we moved to an entirely new reality as a result of the pandemic. Thank you again for your support of the budget and for the many ways you engaged with and supported our work this year. We’re lucky to all be on a team together.

We are beginning the summer actively planning for next year. Earlier this week, we sent a communication regarding our Blueprint Planning Day and the feedback we are asking for. Please click here to volunteer and offer your ideas

In case you missed it, please also see the letter sent yesterday regarding Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion and steps we plan on taking immediately for the coming school year.

Please click here to watch a video recording of this week’s Virtual Town Hall with special guest Monroe County Public Health Commissioner Dr. Michael Mendoza. We are so grateful for the time he took to answer so many questions and share his thoughts regarding reopening for next year.

This will be the last weekly communication, but rest assured that we will be in touch often to communicate plans for next year and to gather your feedback as needed.

    Best wishes and stay well!

…every child, every day, every way
