Green building (also known as green construction or sustainable building) refers to a structure or a process that is resource-efficient for the duration of it's life-cycle. In this unit, students will use materials and principles of modern construction to develop environmentally friendly structures that complement the classical building design concerns of economy, utility, durability, and comfort.
