About NYSUT
NYSUT is more than 600,000 people who work in, or are retired from, New York's schools, colleges, and healthcare facilities. Employee
Assistance Program
The Employees
Assistance Program (EAP) provides employees and their families confidential
counseling to help with problems that may affect job performance. The services
provided by the EAP are free to the employee or family member.
The program includes
professional assessment of concerns, short-term counseling to develop problem-solving
plans, and referrals to community services if indicated by the plans developed.
Your contact
with EAP is confidential to the fullest degree provided by law. Your involvement
in this program is not disclosed to your employer or anyone else without your
permission.
The Health Association,
located at One Mt. Hope Avenue, is the local provider for services. Appointments
are scheduled Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. by calling (585) 325-2980
