The Greenthumb club members each made a Greeenthumb trophy and painted them. Check um out!
The prototype was made by my artist friend and Art teacher Chris Buhner. He hand shaped the original out of clay and we made a rubber mold so that we could mass produce them. We take two parts of liquid plastic and mix them together and pour the mix into the mold. We add small pepples to take up some space and mass to save money on the expensive plastic mix. Once the plastic is mixed it will cure in about 1 minute and 40 seconds. The mix is called polypro mix. It is so cool when it cures it changes from a liquid to a solid within seconds and you can make some cool suspended art with it.
