April 18, 2019 is the last day to file petitions for two seats on the Brighton Board of Education. Two of our seven board seats are to be filled in an election on May 21, 2019. The terms of current board members Mrs. Andrea Costanza and Mrs. Karen Hatch are expiring this year. The two current board members have announced their intention to seek re-election.

Seventh graders at TCMS recently learned about the school’s zero waste program during chemistry class from Impact Earth. Students were challenged to come up with posters that would encourage their classmates to participate in the zero waste program.
Sixth graders in Ms. Maria Katsetos’ class wrote hero essays about an individual who has stood up against injustice. Juniors in Mrs. Heather Bonadonna’s class looked at the pieces to evaluate the writers’ argument and to edit any mechanical errors.
