    The Winter Session of BHS Driver Education Opens for Registration on

    December 7, 2021 at 8 p.m.!

     As soon as we know when registration opens for the Spring session, it will be announced by Dr. Hall and Brighton Community Education using eNews.

    DTSE consists of classroom and driving sessions.  Session days and times are below.

    Classes will run January 3 - March 9, 2022

    Classroom: Lecture classes will be taught via Zoom, Monday and Tuesday evenings from 7:30 – 9:00pm.

    All students attend lecture class at the same time and are required to attend both sessions.

    Note:   Monday, January 3, 2022, at the beginning of the first Zoom lecture class, there is a mandatory parent meeting to meet the instructor and hear an overview of the program

     

    Driving:

    There is only one driving option.

     Tuesdays and Thursdays:        Group A – 3:30 - 5:00 pm    or   Group B – 5:00 - 6:30 pm

    A calendar of classroom and driving sessions is attached.

    All registrations are completed online at https://brightonschools.revtrak.net. Registration begins at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 7, 2021. The website enrolls students on a FIRST COME; FIRST SERVED basis.

     Cost: $590 - (submit payment online)

    • Students must have their learner's permit or driver's license at registration.
    • Program is attendance driven. You cannot miss classes.
    • Successful students receive MV-285 Certificate of Completion.
    • No Refunds after the program begins.

     

    Five Hour Pre-Licensing Course

    Students must have completed the NYS five-hour pre-licensing class before scheduling a driving test. If you take an approved state Driver Education class, you meet the pre-licensing certificate requirement and do not need to register for the pre-licensing class.
