Welcome from the PTSA at Council Rock!
The PTSA brings together families and the wider school community by sponsoring and coordinating many events and activities that will take place throughout the school year. We organize and run School Pictures, the Book Fair, Ice Cream Socials, Movie Nights, Yearbooks, Staff Appreciation Luncheon, Fun Food Fridays and Hospitality events. We also coordinate parent volunteers for the library, art room, and the cafeteria. We organize various community service and donation events to benefit our school and the Brighton community. The Brighton Central PTSA is committed to strengthening the connection between schools and families by advocating for school safety, child health, equity, diversity, and inclusion for all families, among many other topics. We hope that you will join us in these efforts.
Connect with Us and Other Parents on Facebook
Make sure to join your child’s “Class Page” on Facebook for event reminders, to ask questions, and to connect with other families.

Volunteer with Us!
Please be on the lookout for volunteer opportunities in the weekly Tappon Times PTSA Corner. We will include details and sign up links to get involved. We are always looking for more volunteers to join us. These initiatives couldn’t take place without all of us!
We also encourage you to fill out our 2023 - 2024 Volunteer Form. Volunteers are recruited based on these forms for event committees, building committees, and district-wide committees. This does not obligate you to help but will ensure that your name gets put on volunteer lists for those events. A few weeks before an event, the event chairs will decide what kind of help they need and will begin contacting people from their list.
