The printed catalog is mailed to Brighton residents and can be viewed at the link at the bottom of this page. Some in-person classes may need to be cancelled or changed to a virtual Zoom class depending on local Covid-19 recommendtions. If that happens, you will be notified by the Community Education Office.

    Welcome! Brighton Community Education provides high-quality learning opportunities to residents of the Brighton Central School District and surrounding areas by offering classes in the following categories: 


    Adult Community Education * K-12 Student Enrichment * K-12 Youth Sports 

    NYS Driver Education * Ed2Go Virtual Classes 


    The office is open Monday - Friday from 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Summer hours vary. Payment for classes is accepted in the form of an e-check or credit card at https://brightonschools.revtrak.net. Prefer to pay with a check? Mail your form and payment to Brighton Central Schools, 2035 Monroe Avenue Rochester, NY 14618 (Community Education). Walk-in registrations are accepted at the reception desk at the front of the Administration Building weekdays from 8 a.m. - 4 p.m. Register early; classes fill quickly! The Brighton Preschool/Parent Program is run under the umbrella of Brighton Community Education. Details specific to our preschool are available in the print catalog and at bcsd.org/preschool.

    The operational procedures of BCSD's Community Education and Preschool programs will be updated as necessary following guidelines issued by Governor Hochul, the NYS Education Department (NYSED), and the Monroe County Health Department.
