     Welcome to Brighton Community Education!  

     The Brighton Central School District's Community Education program coordinates a variety of learning opportunities in these areas: 

    • Adult Community Education (weeknight evenings and Saturdays) 
    • K-12 After School Classes
    • K-12 Youth Sports Camps and Clinics
    • Brighton Preschool/Parent Program (children ages 3-5)

    Brighton Community Education strives to offer a wide variety of learning opportunities for all residents, as well as those who live beyond Brighton's borders! Offerings include classes in categories such as: 

    • Arts, Crafts & Hobby
    • Auto (Driving)/Home
    • Business/Financial
    • Educational Development (Enrichment classes)
    • Fitness, Health & Wellness
    • Food 
    • Languages and
    • Technology

    Community Education also offers enrichment opportunities for kindergarten through 12th grade students. Programs for K-12 students are separated by category: 

    • Educational Development and
    • Youth Sports Development

     The Brighton Preschool/Parent Program (BPPP) is also offered through Community Education. Preschool is open to children ages three, four and five (by December 1st). More information about our preschool is available in the print catalog and at the BPPP website

    The catalog of classes is published two times annually, prior to the beginning of the Fall/Winter and Spring/Summer sessions. A current catalog is always available on this website (see link below), through a mailing to all residents, and at the Main Office of each school building - including the Administration building (2035 Monroe Avenue). You can also locate catalogs at Brighton Memorial Library and in the lobby of Brighton Town Hall, both located on Elmwood Avenue.

    Community Education accepts payments in the form of check, cash and credit card (Discover, MasterCard and Visa). You may register for classes 24 hours a day, seven days a week by visiting: https://brightonschools.revtrak.net   

    If you prefer to pay by check, please mail a registration form with payment to: Brighton Central Schools, 2035 Monroe Avenue Rochester, NY 14618 (Attn: Community Education Department). Registrations with a cash or check payment may be walked-in to the reception desk at the Administration building between the hours of 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. weekdays (except when the district is closed for State and Federal holidays). A registration form is included in the back of each print catalog and as a separate printable document below.

The Community Education office is staffed from 9:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m. Monday - Thursday and 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. on Friday. The office is closed when the District is closed for holidays and recess periods.
