• Details for Community Education Summer Enrichment classes

     

    Information on enrichment classes and athletic camps for K-12 students can be found at https://brightonschools.revtrak.net. Sign up for a week of iCanCode Tech camp, or one of many athletic camps. Baseball, Basketball, Field Hockey, Football, and Soccer camps are run by the District’s varsity coaches, staff, and players. Do what you love or try something new! Registration is ongoing through Community Education.

     

    BHS students can register for  classes like Writing Your College Application Essay, PSAT and SAT Exam Preparation, and the NYS Five-Hour Pre-Licensing classes through Brighton Community Education’s website: https://brightonschools.revtrak.net. Each of these classes will be held online.

     

    College Essay: Many members of the Class of 2023 are beginning their college search. The college application process, composing the college essay, in particular, may be overwhelming. This summer enrichment class is designed to help students write their college essay, generate ideas for short answer questions, and provide an overview of addressing the entire college application. Students will read and critique model essays, be provided with written feedback on work, have a one-to-one conference time with the instructor, and complete at least one full essay in five days. BHS English teachers will deliver instruction using Zoom and Schoology. Listen, learn, write, conference, edit, and complete at least one full essay in five days, all before the start of your senior year. 

    The  College Essay class is for Brighton Class of 2023 students only. 

     

    SAT and SAT Preparation: Sat Classes are available to Class of 2023 students. Students taking the SAT exam in May and June can sign up for any classes now at Revtrak. Afternoon , evening and weekend classes meet during and after Spring Break. Twelve hours of instruction over Zoom! All class times and dates are available on line at https://brightonschools.revtrak.net.
