GRADUATION UPDATES!

- Class of 2023 Senior Parade at CRPS, FRES, and TCMS
- June 15, 2023, Noon to 2:30 PM
- June 20, 2023, at 10:00 AM – Student Graduation Rehearsal
- Report to the Auditorium (Bring your laptop for turn in!)
- June 20, 2023 at 7:00 PM – Graduation!
- Students report by 6:15 PM by the TK9 Wall.
- The field will be open to attendees starting at 5:00 PM.
- NO TICKETS are required! There will be plenty of seating for ALL families.

The annual senior class parade is back! Interested seniors need to meet at BHS by NOON on June 16th in the BHS Auditorium. We will take buses to FRES, then CRPS, and then TCMS to have students and faculty cheer you on in your caps and gowns! This is a very festive and fun day for all involved.
Graduation Rehearsal on June 20th at 10:00 AM
Graduation rehearsal for all seniors will take place on Tuesday, June 20th at 10:00 AM. Students will meet behind the school between the stadium and pool canopy area near the TK9 Wall. Rehearsal will last no longer than 90-minutes.
Senior Laptop School Issued Device Return & Saving OneNote and OneDrive Files
We will be collecting school-issued laptops starting June 1st – June 20th at rehearsal.
- Starting June 1st, when you have completed your coursework (or you are done using your school-issued laptop) you may drop off your tablet and charger at the BHS Tech Office located in room 203.
- Graduation rehearsal on Tuesday, 20th – stop by the drop-off table under the pool overhang before you line up for rehearsal.
- Last Call = collection table at diploma day (6/23), no computer, no diploma.
Prior to turning in your laptop, please make sure to back up any files you would like to save. Files should be transferred to your personal cloud storage such as DropBox or iCloud. Files saved to your BCSD OneDrive folder will be lost when your account is deactivated over the summer.
Your current BCSD Email account will remain active for one year after graduation. This means that you will have access to your email accounts until July 1, 2024!
Parking at the Ceremony
Families and Seniors are encouraged to WALK to the BHS Stadium for the graduation ceremony as parking will be limited. Family members choosing to watch the ceremony live stream may also drop off attendees at BHS for the ceremony. Families may park in the following areas:
- BHS parking lot
- BHS practice fields behind buildings and grounds
- Winton TCMS parking lot
- Monroe Avenue TCMS/Central Office parking lot
- Twelve Corners Presbyterian Church parking lot next to BHS Winton Road
- Neighborhood side streets to the west of BHS.
Accessible parking spaces are located in the BHS parking lot near door #20 and near the TCMS/Central Office building near door #10 . See below for maps of the DROP OFF, PARKING, and ENTRANCE areas.
Drop-Off Location/Building Entrance
Accessible drop-off locations are located in the BHS Parking Lot near Door #20 and in the TCMS BUS LOOP North of the turf field.
Watching the Ceremony at BHS
Families may watch graduation from the comfort of their home on our District’s Link.
LIVE STREAMING ADDRESS – Click here! NO TICKETS are required this year. ALL family members are welcome to attend as there will be plenty of seating on the turf and in the stadium.
Security/Entrance to BHS Stadium
Entrance to the Stadium will begin at 5:00 PM for graduates and their families. We want graduates to arrive no later than 6:15 PM so that we can organize and start the ceremony right at 7:00 PM.
We have three main entrances to the graduation area.
Security Entrance #1 West – Door #20 in the BHS Parking Lot
Security Entrance #2 North – Central Office/TCMS Parking Lot Gate
Security Entrance #3 South – Practice Field Parking Area on Grass
Professional Pictures will be Taken
There will be two professional photos taken during the ceremony:
The first will be when the student receives their diploma from Dr. Hall on stage. The second will be an individual portrait taken of the student with their diploma after they exit the stage.
Ordering Graduation Pictures
Pictures will be taken by Interstate Pictures this year during graduation. Families can pre-register for the gallery to see their graduate’s photos after the ceremony. Click on the link HERE to see the QR code or use https://my.photoday.com/login?step=phone
Expectations for Students at Graduation
Respectful behavior. This is a day of celebration for our entire community. All eyes will be upon you. Graduation is a formal event so we want it to be a respectful one and dignified. We expect positive and appropriate behavior for this occasion. Your family is proud of you.
During the Ceremony
Walk at a comfortable pace and enjoy the moment – parents and family want to see you and take pictures – don’t rush!!!
Our community is looking forward to a ceremony that students and families will cherish as memories for a lifetime. For the consideration of all attendees, please do not bring noise makers and silence ALL cell phones.
Frequently Asked Questions…
Restrooms
All restrooms are equipped with accessible sinks, stalls, and amenities. There are two areas with restrooms for attendees, one area is in the Concession Stand area on the south end of the stadium and one area is located to the west of the stadium behind the softball field. Only 2 people at a time may occupy the restrooms.
Emergency Exit Gates
Emergency exit gates are located throughout the Stadium. In case of emergencies, please follow instructions given by the staff over the public address system.
Accessible Seating
There will be accessible and companion seating on the turf field near the stage, south side near concession stand and JUMBO TRON screen.
Sign Language Interpreters
Sign language interpreters for guests who are deaf or hard of hearing will be provided. We will have two interpreters there for the event. The sign language interpreter area will be located on the south end of the field near the concession stand and JUMBO TRON screen.
Smoking Policy
As per Monroe County, and New York State Law, smoking, vaping, and use of tobacco products is prohibited anywhere on campus. Violators are subject to possible ejection from school grounds.

- BASH - Come and celebrate the end of your high school career with your classmates! Brighton PTSA hosts Senior Bash on Saturday, June 17, from 6:30 - 11:00 p.m. The night of entertainment and fun includes a T-shirt, food, casino tables, a DJ, an inflatable/Wrecking Ball, a photo booth, a henna artist, laser-tag, a tarot card reader, and a hypnotist at BHS.
