Brighton High School held its annual Springfest on May 24. Springfest is a BHS tradition where students, faculty, and staff celebrate the end of the school year and take a break before the final rush of exam week and review sessions. In the middle of the day, students were able to go outside to visit club booths, buy food from food trucks, play sports, and sign yearbooks. The day also included student council elections, award presentations, a spring sports assembly, a talk from teacher Eric Morris, and a performance by Downbeat Percussion.
Thanks to a generous donation from the Brighton Schools Alumni Association in honor of BHS receiving a 2018 National Blue Ribbon Award, every student, teacher, and staff member received a complimentary Springfest 2019 Commemorative T-shirt. Thank you to PTSA for providing the food truck and inflatable.
