Many Brighton students were selected to perform with Monroe County School Music Association (MCSMA) ensembles and other honor ensembles this school year.

Several French Road Elementary School and Twelve Corners Middle School students were selected for the MCSMA Elementary All-County Festival in March. Evan Alweis (alternate flute), Joel Botwey (clarinet), Alé Bucci (trumpet), Adam Cordero (clarinet), Andrew Lee (horn), Mia Lubkowski (flute), Noah Mankoff (baritone), David Miller (trumpet), Gavin Nagel (horn), Kinjal Prabhat (clarinet), Ethan Rittenberg (tenor sax), and Rosie Tabon were selected for the band. Olivia Connolly (violin), Abby David (violin), Audrey Hoefen (violin), Branwen Hull (violin), Sam Luger (violin), Ahana Maity (violin), Maanav Mukherjee (violin), Elliot Powell (violin), Claire Vorrasi (cello), Suri Ye (violin), and Aaron Yildiz (violin) were selected for the orchestra.

Several Twelve Corners Middle School students were selected for the MCSMA Junior High All-County Festival in March. Abigail Abraham (violin), Clementine Beach (cello), Asher Clar (cello), Aurora Gray (violin), Owen Hoefen (cello), Heather Lin (cello), Bella Mamo (viola), Eliza Proctor (violin), Emaline Stratton (cello), and Teddy Watson (viola) were selected for the orchestra. Arnab Bandyopadhyay (baritone), Jane Burger (euphonium), Delaney Conroy (bass clarinet), Kara Filmore (euphonium), Daniel Gasparino (alternate trumpet), Michael Hansen (trumpet), Gabriella Kappy (flute), Raeha Khazanchi (flute),  Kyte Kurosaki (tuba), Aishani Maity (clarinet), Gus Meltzer (flute), Anna Miller (alto saxophone), Ronin Sellix (alternate percussion), Nia Silvio-Lederman (alternate percussion), Leah Tyree (bassoon), Benjamin Watson (French horn), Nathaniel Ying (trumpet), and Malcolm Yu (alto saxophone) were selected for the band.

Several Brighton High School students were selected for the MCSMA Senior High All-County Ensembles in March. Peter Odhiambo (principal clarinet), Endi Guo (clarinet), Daniella Miller (clarinet), Vincent Hunt (horn), Corban Vogler (principal trumpet), Gabe Kulick (timpani) were selected for the band. Sophie Miller and Garrett Zielinski were selected for the chorus. Matthew Barry, Noah Busch, Deanna Caldarelli, David Deroo-Kury (timpani) Ella Hall, and Evan Hoefen were selected for the orchestra.

Several BHS students were selected for the MCSMA Junior and Senior High All-County Jazz Bands and Vocal Jazz ensembles in March. Henry Paluck, Zach Kulick, and Zach Paine were selected for the band. Aurora Cabral, Hope Galloway, Emmeline Paluck, and Sasha Williams were selected for the chorus.

Several Twelve Corners Middle School and Brighton High School students were selected for New York State School Music Association (NYSSMA) Area All-State ensembles. Daniella Miller (clarinet), Carly Giebel (clarinet), Gabe Kulick (timpani), Ryan Ni (trombone), Khazanchi Raeha (flute), and Nathaniel Ying (trumpet) were selected for the junior high symphonic band. Clementine Beach (cello), Noah Busch (violin), Timothy Chen (violin), Aurora Gray (violin), Ceyda Lenio (violin), Heather Lin (cello), John Luger (viola), Megan Mendler (cello), Haydie Po (violin), Benjamin Watson (French horn), and Heejin Yoon (violin) were selected for the junior high symphony orchestra. Emmeline Paluck, Maya Seltzer-Clinton, and Ionna Vaugh were selected for the senior high mixed chorus. Grace Conn and Sophie Hilger were selected for the senior high treble chorus. Marlena Berger (bassoon), Joanna Frank (cello), Annie Guo (violin), Emma Hilger (violin), Elizabeth Norris (cello), Ben Rosenhack (violin), Corban Vogler (trumpet), and Alina Ying (cello) were selected for the senior high symphony orchestra. Victoria Demian-Popescu (flute), David Deroo-Kury (timpani), Endi Guo (clarinet), Vincent Hunt (French horn), Elise Keefer (flute), Samantha Kotz (alto sax), Peter Odhiambo (clarinet), and Jayden Vogler (alto sax) were selected for the senior high symphonic band.

Brighton High School student Elizabeth Norris (cello) was accepted into the National Association for Music Education (NAfME) All-Eastern Symphony Orchestra. The rehearsals and performance are in Rochester in April. The All-Eastern rehearsals and performances will take place in Rochester in April.

Brighton High School student Tamsin Spiller (trumpet) was selected to perform with the National Association for Music Education (NAfME) All-National Symphony Orchestra in November. 

Three Brighton High School students attended the New York State Band Directors Association (NYSBDA) Senior High Honor Band festival in March. They are Jayden Vogler (principal chair alto saxophone), Samantha Kotz (alto saxophone), and Victoria Demian-Popescu.
