Twelve Corners Middle School hosted King Arthur Flour assemblies for sixth and seventh graders in December. Amy Driscoll, a King Arthur Flour Bake for Good Kids instructor, taught students how to make bread from scratch.
At the end of the assembly, students received ingredients to make two loaves of bread: one to enjoy at home and the other to return to school so it could be donated to local charities. TCMS students donated 403 loaves of homemade bread to the Open Door Mission, House of Mercy, and Center for Youth. Thank you to Ms. Moran and Miss Cayea for organizing this great event!
