Chief Catholdi reads

Special guest readers from throughout the Brighton community read some of their favorite children’s books with students at French Road Elementary School for Read Across America Day on Feb. 28. The event is scheduled around the birthday of beloved children’s author Dr. Seuss.

The guest readers included school administrators, principals, Board of Education members, staff members, and members of the community such as Brighton Town Supervisor Bill Moehle, Brighton Police Chief David Catholdi, and Brighton Fire Captain Rick Tracy. Library Media Specialist Justin McVey converted the library into a Starbooks Café.
