Musical Performances from School Board Recognition Night
Tuesday was School Board Recognition Night and a video of student and community musical performances was played for the Board. The Board’s support has helped create an environment where learning and service through the arts has flourished.
Performances are from:
BHS students Andrew and Annie Guo’s “Harmonies for Healing Project” featuring Tamsin Spiller (piano) performing “Gentle Breeze” and Alina Ying (cello) performing “Salut d’Amore”
FRES student Branwen Hull performing a song she composed called “The Little Bird”
FRES student Gabby Blumkin and her Grandpa performing “Ode to Joy”
TCMS student Joseph McQuaid performing a Violin Excerpt from Karelia Overture, Sibelius from the TCMS Instrumental Music “Concerts from a Distance”
TCMS All-County Strings Students conducted by Jenny Muhl performing “Aspen Glow”
The Brighton Community Band conducted by Dr. Sarah Fischer performing “Seasons of Love.” Special thanks to parent Derrick Shriver for lending his video skills to this project.
