TCMS Re-Designated as an Essential Elements: School to Watch
Twelve Corners Middle School was re-designated as an Essential Elements: School to Watch for 2021. The award is given out every three years following a lengthy application process and school visit (virtual this school year).
This is the sixth consecutive time the middle school has been selected for this honor. Schools to Watch embody the intersection of academic excellence, developmental responsiveness, social equity, and organizational structure.
The recognition was possible thanks to the school’s students, staff, parents, and community members.
“Receiving this recognition truly is an honor,” Principal Jim Nuñez said. “Twelve Corners continues to carry on the tradition of excellence, proving that our responsiveness to our families, students, and staff is always at the forefront of what we do.
“This recognition does not come without the support of our families. We are greatly appreciative for the continued support we receive in making our programming possible.
“The greatest thank you goes out to Rob Thomas. His passion and commitment to establishing the foundation of our school has put us in a position to carry on the great work that he started.”
