Sixth Graders Participate in Outdoor Education

In September and October, Twelve Corners Middle School sixth graders participated in the Outdoor Education program at the Rotary Sunshine Camp in Rush. This was the 51st year of Outdoor Education (ODE)!

For many sixth graders, ODE is the highlight of their entire middle school experience. Students took part  in hands-on activities including archery, fire starting, fishing, arts and crafts, and team building activities.  The opportunity to meet students off campus and promote the school’s expectations and core values is invaluable. The program was modified into a one-day experience due to COVID. Students were able to have a campfire before taking a bus back to TCMS.

Thank you to the teachers and parents who helped make this opportunity possible.
