Seventh grade students in Frau Walter’s German class learned about the origins of Gingerbread and the stories of the Brothers Grimm. After reading “Hänsel and Gretel,” they built Gingerbread houses. More than 80 students and teachers visited the German classroom to vote for their favorite house.
