Orchestras Combine at Annual District-Wide Strings Concert

Orchestras from French Road Elementary School, Twelve Corners Middle School, and Brighton High School filled up the BHS gym for the annual District-Wide Strings Concert in March.

The orchestras combined to play the “Star Spangled Banner” and “Blackberry Blossom.” The French Road Elementary School Orchestra, led by Lori Isham, performed “Canyon Sunset” and “Viking.” The Sixth Grade Orchestra, led by Lia Kettelkamp, performed “Butter” and “Thundersnow.” The Seventh and Eighth Grade Combined Orchestra, led by Jenny Muhl, performed the “Theme from Jurassic Park” and “Highlights from The Greatest Showman.” The Brighton High School orchestras, led by Dr. Rachel Lauber, performed “Jewel Dances from Sleeping Beauty” and “Folk Tune and Fiddle Dance Suite for Strings.”
