CRPS and FRES Celebrate Read Across America Day
Special guest readers from throughout the Brighton community read some of their favorite children’s books with students at French Road Elementary School for Read Across America Day on March 3. The event is scheduled around the birthday of beloved children’s author Dr. Seuss.
The guest readers included school administrators, principals, Board of Education members, staff members, and members of the community such as Rochester Mayor Malik Evans, New York State Assemblyman Demond Meeks, Brighton Town Supervisor Bill Moehle, and Brighton Police Chief David Catholdi.
At Council Rock Primary School, Brighton High School students in the Future Teachers Club read to students on March 2.
