Please Turn in Day Care or Opt Out Transportation Requests by May 31

In order to plan for the 2020-21 school year, we’re asking the parents of students in Grades K-8 to notify the Transportation Department of day care plans or if your child will not require transportation as soon as possible. Forms must be submitted by May 31. Families only need to submit a Child Care Transportation form if the pick-up or drop-off location is different than the child’s home address. Transportation will automatically be set up using the home address unless an alternative address is provided. Even if you are unsure of your plans at this time, please submit what you think your plans will be for the fall. You may always contact the Transportation Department if you need to update your day care information throughout the school year. Parents of students who do not require transportation (a.m., p.m. or at all) should also submit a form.

Because of the timing of morning and afternoon kindergarten placements, the deadline remains July 15 for those students. Students in grades 7-12 do not need to fill out a form, as they will automatically be assigned to the closest stop in their neighborhood.

We ask for your prompt attention to this so that our routes can be as accurate and timely as possible when school opens. The form is available by clicking here.
