Brighton High School Assistant Principal Mike Pincelli will be leaving the Brighton Central School District to become the principal at Brockport High School.
“This is truly a bitter-sweet moment for me,” Pincelli said. “My time in Brighton has afforded me the opportunity to learn from, grow with, and form relationships with so many special individuals and families. From my first day, I was welcomed into the Brighton school community with open arms and I will truly miss interacting with each of you on a daily basis. The Brighton Central School District is a remarkable place for students to learn and for families to grow.
“I would like to personally thank Dr. Hall, Dr. McGowan, Dr. Baker, Mr. Alaimo, and especially our Brighton High School faculty and staff for their mentorship, guidance, and support over the last five years. I will always cherish my time as a member of the Brighton family and wish you all the absolute best. From the bottom of my heart, ‘Thank you.’”
Pincelli joined Brighton as an assistant principal in 2015. He previously worked as an instructional coach, English teacher, and theatre director at Rush-Henrietta schools.
“We want to thank Mike for his dedication and exceptional commitment to the students, staff, and families of Brighton High School,” Brighton Superintendent Dr. Kevin McGowan said. “We’re so proud of Mike. Brockport is lucky to have him.
Brighton will begin a search for a new assistant principal immediately.
