Absentee Ballot Applications Are Available For May 18 School Budget and Board Candidate Vote
Absentee ballots are available to qualified school district voters. This year, the illness reason for absence has been expanded to instances where a voter is unable to appear personally at the polling place of the school district in which they are a qualified voter because there is a risk of contracting or spreading a disease that may cause illness to them or to other members of the public.
An application for an absentee ballot must first be completed. Requests for absentee ballots must be received by the District Clerk on or before May 11, 2021 if the ballot is to be mailed to the voter, or on or before May 17, 2021 if the ballot is to be picked up by the voter. Completed absentee ballots must be received by 5 p.m. on the date of the school budget vote and Board of Education election, May 18, 2021.
