He started as a social studies teacher at Twelve Corners Middle School, served as the Director of the Brighton Teacher Center, and has been an assistant principal at Twelve Corners Middle School since 2008. As an assistant principal, Dr. Maloy was responsible for instructional leadership, development of the master schedule, and supervision of staff and students.
He earned a B.A. in history, religious studies, and education from the University of Rochester, M.S. in special education from Nazareth College, certificate of advanced study in educational administration from SUNY Brockport, certificate of advanced study in school building leadership from the University of Rochester, and doctoral degree (Ed.D.) in education from St. John Fisher University.
During the transition to Dr. Maloy’s new role, former Twelve Corners Middle School Principal Rob Thomas will return as an assistant principal on an interim basis. The District will be posting for the assistant principal position this week.
