Several Brighton High School students qualified for the New York State DECA Conference at the Region 10 DECA Conference at RIT in December. Individuals who won awards were Aditya Shaligram and Adee Zahavi. Teams that won awards were: Mae Tuori and Adrienne Zappia, Jon Grode and Henry Peters, Cole Manelis and Myles Ellickson, Abram Levy and Matt Kotrides, Liam Clark and Mitchel Minor, Ben Watson and Lucas Ng, and Gina Goodyear and Sophia Randazzese. The BHS Business Club is advised by Sam Rizzo and MaryBeth Bradshaw.

A total of 118 BHS students attended the competition. The State Conference will be in March.
