Students Win Awards in 5x7xDesign Contest
Several Twelve Corners Middle School and Brighton High School students were recognized in the Brighton Memorial Library's 5x7xDesign Contest. Students submitted postcard-sized art in various mediums for judging.
In the Senior Division, senior Sage Rinella won Best in Show using mixed/various media. Sophomore Seana Sherry placed first in photography with senior Alison Fabila earning honorable mention. Sophomore Aster Whorton placed first in mixed/various media with junior Benjamin Kringstein earning honorable mention.
In the Junior Division, seventh grader Madelyn Duell won Best in Show using drawing/painting. Eighth graders Nora Peters and Sophia Vaysman earned honorable mentions in drawing/painting. Freshman Jing Mei Wu placed first in mixed/various media with freshman Charlotte Marrinan earning honorable mention.
