Three members of the Brighton school community were honored at the PTSA Life Membership Ceremony on June 25. Individuals receiving this recognition were honored for their outstanding service and commitment to the welfare of our children. Honorary Life Membership in the New York PTA is one of the highest honors that one can receive from the organization. 

This year’s honorees were: Physical Therapist Barb Flender, Communications Coordinator Dan Goldman, and BHS Special Education Teacher Cassie Pruitt. Congratulations to all of the honorees!

The PTSA also introduced its officers for the 2024-25 school year. They officially assumed their new positions on July 1. They are President Monica Alongi, President-Elect  Stephanie Bush, Secretary Jamie Smith, and Treasurer Melissa Staloff.
