For the 15th annual Gingerbread House building event, students in Frau Walter’s seventh grade German class learned about the origins of Gingerbread and the stories of the Brothers Grimm. After reading “Hänsel and Gretel,” they built Gingerbread houses. More than 150 students and teachers visited the German classroom to vote for their favorite house! The winning house was created by Mattie and Justine and the Bandenburg Gate, created by Colin, Ismail, and Logan, was the runner up!
