The Brighton High School Science Bowl Team took first place at the U.S. Department of Energy Western New York High School Regional Science Bowl at the University of Rochester. The team includes Eli Gray, Krishna Tangirala, Matheesha Jayawardhane, Leon Gomes, and Andrew Wu. The team is coached by Bakari Smith. They will be competing at the national competition in Washington, DC in April.
