BHS Students Compete in SkillsUSA Championship

Forty-six Eastern Monroe Career Center (EMCC) students competed at the New York State SkillsUSA Championship on April 23 at the New York State Fairgrounds in Syracuse. Students showcased their skills across a wide range of fields, from photography and welding to cosmetology and construction trades.
Four Brighton students were among those competing. Josslyn Dillard placed second in Nail Technology Model; Mya Lajuett placed second in Nail Care; Peyton Johnson placed third in Auto Service Basic; and Shea Henry competed in Culinary Arts. Congratulations!
