Posted Date: 05/22/26 (03:11 PM)

Brighton High School students participated in this year’s National German Exam, hosted by the American Association of Teachers of German (AATG). The exam is a prestigious assessment taken by more than 15,000 students of German across the United States each year. It not only measures German-language skills but also encourages cultural understanding and inspires continued study of German.

The exam awards medals based on how students performed compared to others nationwide. Bronze medals are presented to students whose scores are within the top 30% nationwide. Silver medals recognize students whose scores are within the top 20% nationwide. Gold medals are awarded to students whose scores place them among the top 10% of students nationwide.

These students were awarded medals and certificates for their outstanding commitment and progress in learning the German language and culture.
